70th Anniversary

celebration

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! We invite you to join us at Ottumwa Trinity Church of the Nazarene for our 70th Anniversary Celebration this September 20-21, 2025. We would love to share this time with you as we celebrate Trinity Church’s rich legacy, current ministry, and bright future.

Saturday, September 20th

The celebration will begin at Noon on Saturday, September 20th, with a light lunch provided by the church. The afternoon will be filled with opportunities to connect with Trinity Church’s pastors and other leaders (1:30-3:00 p.m.), share memories, and view videos and pictures that capture the ministry of Trinity Church across the decades.

We will share a catered dinner on Saturday evening beginning at 5:00 p.m. Please let us know whether or not you plan to attend by completing the RSVP Form or by calling/texting Diana McCarl at (641) 777-3452. A donation basket will be available during dinner to help offset costs and to support our teenagers as they prepare to attend Nazarene Youth Conference 2026.

There will be a service from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary filled with testimonies of God’s faithfulness in every season of Trinity Church’s story.

The evening will conclude with additional opportunities for fellowship and connection. Families are welcome to enjoy the new playground behind the church, outdoor games, and the toys in the nursery throughout the weekend.

Sunday, September 21st

All are invited to join us on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. for a light brunch in the Foyer, with Worship beginning at 10:30 a.m. We will hear from our former pastors, unite together in song, pray for the future, and have a special rededication ceremony.

Following Worship, all are invited to join us for a picnic in the new park space behind the church. There will be an outdoor tent with plenty of seating for all. Indoor seating will also be available. If you have any questions, please call or text Diana McCarl at (641) 777-3452. We look forward to our time of celebration and fellowship.

Grace & Peace,
Pastor Matt Selden
