We are a member of the global Church of the Nazarene, a denomination spanning over 167 world areas and comprising over 30,000 churches.
WE BELIEVE in one God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
WE BELIEVE that human beings are born with a fallen nature, and are, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
WE BELIEVE that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
WE BELIEVE that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.

MATT SELDEN
Lead Pastor
Pastor Matt and Brenna began their ministry at Trinity Church in August 2019. As Lead Pastor, Matt oversees preaching/teaching, is involved with all age-level programs, and casts vision for Trinity Church’s ministry to the community of Ottumwa.
Having grown up in nearby Oskaloosa, Matt is an Iowan at heart. He is married to his wife, Brenna, a lifelong Nebraskan. For fun, Matt enjoys being outside, all things Star Wars, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
Matt has a B.A. in Pastoral Ministry from MidAmerica Nazarene University and an M.Div. through Nazarene Theological Seminary.
